WHO chief pledges to increase funding and improve funding quality

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Wednesday (May 20) said that the global health body increase its funding and also imporve the funding quality in order to expand its programs and provide support to the countries which are in need of help. We have developed a strategy to build a foundation which we hope would be established soon and looking for new sources of funding and also expand our donor base," Tedros said.
