WHO says herd immunity won't be reached in 2021 despite vaccines

While the entire world is hopeful of putting the Covid outbreak at bay with several vaccines being released. The World Health Organisation, however, has warned that herd immunity will not be reached in 2021 despite a mass vaccination. "Even if happens in a couple of pockets in a few countries, it's not going to protect people across the world," WHO’s chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan said while speaking of herd immunity.
