According to the Global Gender Gap Report by the World Economic Forum, the gap between men and women has been widened by nearly a generation amid the coronavirus pandemic. It will take the world 99.5 years to 135.6 years to see a society where women are in overall parity with men. Workplace equality, which is one of the biggest roadblocks in the way of narrowing the gender gap, is likely to stay for another 267.6 years.
