Islam does not bar women from mosques: Muslim body to Supreme Court

Women are permitted to enter mosques to offer prayers, and there is no restriction on men and women praying together, says Muslim Law Board to the SC. However, it also stated that it is not mandatory for them to do so. Women also have the option to offer prayers at home instead of mosques. AIMPLB said that no comment on any religion and there should be no segregation separate entry, exit or a separate praying area.
