Working on blockchain technology to increase voter turnout: Election Commission

To manage our livelihood, we Indians never hesitate to switch cities, but it cost our voting right, as current norms of the Election Commission of India don’t allow users to cast their votes in any other constituency besides the allotted one. And to overcome this issue, EC is working with the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai , to develop a blockchain system, according to chief election commissioner Sunil Arora.
