Thousands of senior staff members, including scientists and engineers at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have suffered pay cuts with the Central government deciding to discontinue 'additional increments'. Despite ISRO being in a race against time to re-establish communication with Vikram Lander that crashed on the lunar surface, the Modi government released a statement which states the discontinuation of grants.
