Victory! Rajasthan govt clears 5% quota bill to Gujjars

Gujjar community was on strike from Friday to get their demands fulfilled and they succeeded as well. On Wednesday, the Rajasthan government passed the Backward Classes Amendment Bill approving the 5 % quota to Gujjar community in jobs and educational institutes. 4 other castes will also enjoy this privilege. The bill was presented by Energy Minister B.D. Kalla in the Rajasthan assembly.
