IPL players left other sports players behind in earning more per match

A Global Sports Salary survey was conducted which revealed that in terms of per match IPL players are earning the most than any other sports players. The IPL was launched in 2008. Now if we talk in terms of earnings in a year, EPL has remained the richest football league globally, with 1st-team squad players earning nearly £2.99m annually. Whereas IPL players, playing 14 matches only, nearly earns £274,624 per match.
