ICC not only turned down Dhoni’s request for wearing gloves with army insignia but also rejected Chris Gayle’s request to use ‘Universe Boss’ logo on his bat showing the equipment regulation violation rules. The West Indies big-hitter, called ‘Universe Boss,’ sought permission from ICC to allow him to use the logo on his bat branding but ICC said he couldn’t use any clothing or sporting equipment for personal messages.
