Top Indian weightlifters tested positive in dope test

India has suffered a huge blow ahead of the Commonwealth Championships from July 9-14. More than 10 top weightlifters, including a 2010 CWG gold medallist, have tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. The lifters have left the national camp and won’t be a part of the May 21 Commonwealth Championships selection trials. They are provisionally suspended and if proven guilty, will be banned for 4 years.
