Rafael Nadal hammered 22 powerful aces to beat Sam Querrey, a 2017 semi-finalist, 7-5 6-2 6-2 to set up the Wimbledon semifinal the whole sporting world is waiting - a clash with arch-rival Roger Federer. Meanwhile, the 20-time major champion Federer beat Kei Nishikori in four sets to win his 100th match at Wimbledon.
