2nd API bug led to data breach of 52.2 million Google+ users

On Monday, Google has revealed that a 2nd bug in the Google+ API may have affected the personal data of nearly 52.5 million users. A spokesperson from Google said that the bug was recognized during an internal test and that it was not misused by any 3rd-party, as per the current evidence. After the incidence, the company has decided to shut down Google+ in April next year instead of August 2019.
