Ex-ISRO Chairman AS Kumar was conferred with France's highest civilian award by President of France, for his contribution to India-France space cooperation. The ceremony was held at the Residence of France. Kumar fostered the historic & ambitious space cooperation between the 2 countries & contributed to making it peoples cooperation of peoples & 1 of the cornerstones of Indo-French strategic partnership.
