Chinese tech giant Huawei is facing severe criticism for allegedly implying in its smartphone settings that Taiwan is independent. Despite the backlash, Huawei hasn’t yet responded. Many global brands like Versace, Coach, Givenchy, and Swarovski has come under fire recently for showing Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan as separate countries or regions - not a part of China - through their official websites or branded T-shirts.
