Surprisingly 50% Americans don’t know who owns WhatsApp

Almost the whole world is using WhatsApp. But do you who own it? A question asked from 1,297 US adults and half of them who use WhatsApp surprisingly don’t know that Facebook owns it. The survey was conducted by the US-based privacy-protecting search engine and revealed that 50.42% of the US citizens don’t know the answer to the question. And 60% of those who use Waze don’t know that Google owns it.
