Nature is losing one tree per hour, says government data

A shocking number of trees have been cut as per the data revealed by the Delhi Govt since 2005. Having a look at the data, nearly 112,169 trees were chopped off in Delhi between 2005 and February of 2008. CIC and Delhi High Court have made it compulsory in Delhi to put such details on its official website. In the last 13 years, one tree was chopped in one hour said the reports. This has caused anger among the activists.
