As per this year’s edition of Global Metro Monitor, Delhi is the 6th best performing metropolitan economy in the world, with a higher standard of living. The report said that though it is at the 2nd position after Mumbai in terms of metro area it is having per capita income which is 3 times the national average. In the list 5 cities belong to China. Dublin is at the top of the list followed by San Jose at 2nd place.
