By launching 2 more UK satellites, India’s total foregin satellites rises to 239

Yesterday, India successfully launched 2 British earth observation satellites- NovaSAR and S1-4, into the orbit. The rocket PSLV C42 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota and released the satellites after 17 min 44 sec. NovaSAR is used for forest mapping, land use etc. and S1-4 is used for surveying resources, environment monitoring etc. With this India has launched 239 foreign satellites till now.
