The Nobel Foundation declared 2 Nobel Prizes in Literature this year. The Swedish Academy is the body that awards the winner, but it was stopped by the Nobel Foundation owing to allegations of sexual abuse, financial wrongdoings, corruption & cover-up. So there was none in 2018, which is not the 1st time as the prize was not awarded 7 times in the past. If it's not awarded a year then it is reserved for next year.
