6 dead as Assam rivers flow above danger mark

The Assam monsoons are taking over where over 8 lakh people have been affected due to the floods, where at least 6 people have died. Out of 33 districts, 21 have been affected with one of the largest rivers in the world, and the Brahmaputra cuts right through Guwahati where over five rives are flowing above the danger mark. Officials have stated that more rain is predicted over the weekend and ferry services have been stopped.
