Refuse to admit student to school without Aadhaar is invalid: UIDAI

UIDAI has said that schools cannot refuse the admission of students due to lack of Aadhaar. It is invalid to deny the admission on this basis. It has also asked schools to organize a special camp in their premises for Aadhaar enrolment and updation in coordination with local banks and post offices along with others. In the past, there were cases that the schools were not admitting the students due to an absence of Aadhaar.
