Gavaskar questions Kohli's position as captain, calls selectors ‘lame ducks’

Sunil Gavaskar has raised a serious question about why Virat Kohli continues to be India captain even though his appointment was over after the 2019 World Cup. The former India skipper suggested BCCI should have arranged a formal meeting to reappoint Kohli. The MSK Prasad-led selection committee recently named Virat Kohli as captain of India for all the three formats ahead of the Windies tour starting on August 3.
