Hrithik Roshan revealed his father, Rakesh Roshan suffering from squamous cell carcinoma of the throat today. Squamous cell carcinoma of the throat is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells of the lining of the throat. A sore throat, change in voice, difficulty in swallowing, persistent cough and ear pain are major symptoms. Radiation therapy, surgery, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy are done to treat patients.
