An aggressive Indian side thrashed Maldives 4-0 to cruise into the SAFF U-18 Championship final on Friday. Narender Gahlot (7th), Manvir Singh (79th) and Ninthoinganba Meetei (81st) scored for India amidst a flurry of chances while Maldives’ Ahnaf Rasheedh’s (45’+1’) own goal on the stroke of half time sealed a convincing victory for India. The Indian Colts will now face Bangladesh in the summit clash on Sunday.
