The Indian government turned down Pakistan's offer for consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav and has asked Islamabad to provide 'unimpeded' contact. An official said the access should also be in light of the orders of the International Court of Justice. The ICJ had last month ruled that Pakistan had violated Jadhav's rights and had sought a review of his death sentence. A response is yet awaited from the neighbours.
