IPL 2020 auction likely in December

While the 13th edition of IPL scheduled for an April kick-off next year, BCCI have decided to stage the auctions early. It’s likely to be held in December this year. Franchises have already started working on trading players to build a stronger side for next season. The auction will be a mini-event with a 3 crore increment to the players’ salary cap. It means the franchises will be able to spend up to Rs 86 crore.
