JW Marriott backed by FHRAI: Nothing illegal in the banana controversy

The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) backed JW Marriott on Rahul's banana controversy. GS Kohli, vice president, FHRAI commented that bananas could be purchased at the market price at retail outlets, but a luxury hotel provides service, quality, cutlery, sanitised fruit, ambience and not just the commodity. As far as the GST is added, it is a legal requirement, and the hotel didn't do anything illegal.
