Stephen Hillenburg gave birth to your favourite SpongeBob SquarePants. The animated series creator is no more. He died at the age of 57 on Tuesday. The news was confirmed by the Nickelodeon television network. Last year he himself disclosed that he is suffering from the neurodegenerative disease ALS. Nickelodeon said that he died fighting a battle with ALS. His series has won many accolades. He created 2 Hollywood films.
