Lionel Messi slammed "corruption and the referees" at the Copa America after he was given marching orders as Argentina managed a 3rd place finish with a 2-1 win over Chile on Saturday. In a hot-tempered match, the Argentine and Chile captain Gary Medel were given their marching orders just eight minutes from half-time following a tangling on the goalline. However, television suggested Messi had done little wrong.
