Congress president Rahul Gandhi proposed a minimum income plan for the poor under 'Nyay scheme'; announced Rs.72000 for poor families if he returns to power, calling it a final assault to poverty. He said they consulted several economists including Ex-RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan before coming up with this idea.
