UNSG report reveals UN owes India the highest, $38 million, to pay for its peace-keeping operations. It owes $31 mn to Rwanda, $28 mn to Pakistan, $25 mn to Bangladesh & $23 mn to report. UN Secretary gen Antonio Guterres expressed his concerns over the world body's deteriorating financial health; it is facing deepening liquidity problems in its regular budget, a trend that needs to be haltered & reversed.
