Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is set to take Samsung to court, alleging the South Korean smartphone maker has misled customers about the water-resistance of Galaxy handsets. To strengthen its case, the ACCC will also rely on more than 300 Samsung ads published on several platforms since 2016. The ACCC also claims some Samsung phones are being sold at higher prices due to their IP ratings.
