Former cricketers like Mark Waugh, Mark Butcher have heavily criticized the pitch used for India-New Zealand WC semifinal at Old Trafford. New Zealand found it hard to score runs after they decided to bat as the ball wasn’t really coming to the bat on what looked like a slow and ‘two-paced’ surface on Tuesday. The Kiwis managed to score 211 for 5 in 46.1 overs before rain pushed the match to the reserve day.
