The Tortoise that was feared to be extinct, found on Galapagos Island

A particular tortoise species was not seen over 110 years and hence feared to be extinct; has been found in a remote part of Galapagos Island, Fernandina. Investigators assume more members of the species to be on the island, as they have found the tracks and scats. The Fernandina Giant Tortoise was listed as critically endangered & possibly extinct but Sunday's discovery was the first confirmed sighting.
