Vande Bharat Express hit by stones; Driver's windscreen & windows of coaches damaged

Vande Bharat Express gets hit by flying ballast. It has been damaged severely. The driver's windscreen, outer glass windows of coaches C4, C6, C7, C8, C13 & 2 glass panes of C12 have been damaged. A ballast came flying towards the train when the Dibrugarh Rajdhani crossing on the adjoining line had a cattle run over, said the CRPO of Northern railways. The damage has been assessed & the train is found to be fit.
