No unnecessary movement: 5,146 people held and 1,018 vehicles seized amid lockdown
On Tuesday 5,146 people were detained and 299 cases were registered against them for not following the lockdown orders seriously. As police enforced the lockdown in Delhi, the restrictions have become severe with a tight vigil being kept to ensure no unnecessary movement of people and vehicles takes place. The lockdown is expected to get more stricter after PM Modi announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days.
