Delhi High Court directs Tihar's Jail-6 superintendent to place request for vaccines for inmates between 18 and 44

The Delhi High Court has ordered the Superintendent of Central Jail-6 to place a formal request for coronavirus vaccines for inmates aging between 18 and 44. Justice Prathiba M Singh gave the jail's superintendent 48 hours to place a request for the vaccine doses while adding that the home ministry shall supply the requisite doses within 15 to 30 days. The prison authorities have only received vaccines for those above 45 till now.
