Obesity Risk in Formula-Fed Babies
This study complements the previous one. While formula is helpful for helping newborns gain weight, this propensity may be dangerous. According to one research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, formula-fed babies are more likely to become obese later in life. Researchers believe this is because bottles are simpler to guzzle than breasts, resulting in overeating and a bigger appetite that children retain into adulthood.
